[KEW 26 Oct 2024] Interactive Teaching + Learning Fest

Many of our volunteers in Sunday School struggle with keeping kids focussed during worship and teaching. Why is this so, and what can we do about it? The level of attention a person applies to a learning situation is influenced or limited by their perception of its value.

In this workshop, participants will learn about the preconditions for better learning and attention, and understand the wide range of in-the-moment moves that a teacher can use to capture, maintain, recapture and refocus student attention.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to gain access to common attention moves. They will also learn to match the choice of move to what a situation warrants, and determine what works most effectively for their particular group of children.

Inaugural Kidmin Learning Festival!

We're excited to be hosting the very first Kidmin Learning Festival as part of this event! Besides getting access to various industry professionals who will be showcasing their resources to help your ministry grow, churches will also be invited to set up information booths to share some of their best practices with everyone else! Whether it's an in-house developed software; a church-written curriculum; or an innovative way to sign children in and out - everyone has something to offer, and everyone has something to learn!
